Casino Royale With Cheese 2

Here’s a fun thing to do on a Saturday…

Go to the biggest cinema in Edinburgh in the middle of the afternoon to see the new James Bond film. Emerge (after what seems like five hours) later and casually discuss the film’s merits with your viewing partner. Just as you’re both passing the MASSIVE long queues waiting to see the sold out evening performances, stop dead in your tracks, clasp the sides of your head with your hands and shriek…

“I KNOW! I couldn’t believe it either when his girlfriend drowned at the end!”

Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha… funny eh? What do you mean you haven’t seen it yet? Oops…

What a coincidence! That's exactly what happens to Meredith at the end of Grey's Anatomy. Oooops.

Soaps,

" ... and I'll drown you ya plot-spoiling ex-banker bastard!"

With your movie-acting experience I'm sure you appreciate your audience reactions.

I noticed in Blockbuster that " The Adventures of Greyfriar's Boaby" was available under the "3 for 7 days - £5!!!!" offer, but I decided to wait until it was cheaper before renting. It was also available to purchase for £5.99 , but again, I carried out a quick risk/benefit analysis & cold hard economics won out over any rash decision making.

Cheers,

DC

..... and another thing.

Your role's as " Toon Cooncil 'fishal", which tragically ended up cut from the released version ,( roll on the Director's cut), and " Random Bloke", which I think made it, are noted. I was on 'www.ilovebond.co.uk', & saw that you had been short-listed for THEE role of Mr J. Bond Unfortunately you had some difficulty in deciding whether to take it or " Boaby" - good choice! Would this have anything to do with your behaviour after viewing the film?

I'd do it!! Since I've deliberately avoided Bond films since Live And Let Die, I am all for this method of plot-spoiling-by-proxy! Mind you, Bond is quite fit (and corsetless) this time around but I'm willing to wait to be subjected to CR around Xmas '09 on the telly.

The part of Boaby sounds ideal! Just think of all the tummy rubs! Incidentally, I've a cat called Boaby......

Aw Lesley, don't be like that. She didn't really drown... I think she might've got shot first. Do you want me to tell you what happens in Season 3 of 'Lost'?

Donald - £5.99? I'm waiting till it goes below £3 before I buy it.

Lena - Yes, Daniel Craig is very 'fit'. The film's worth seeing if you have a day (and/or a licence)to kill.
